Endigit provides premier LabVIEW software development. As a National Instruments Silver Alliance partner, we work closely with NI to provide the best data acquisition, automated test, machine vision, and embedded control and monitoring systems. As certified LabVIEW Architects (CLA), our software engineers ensure that your system is built with clean efficient code. Based in the Greater Salt Lake City Area, Endigit serves Utah and the Mountain West as well as national customers.

After starting his career at National Instruments supporting, teaching and developing LabVIEW, Robert Mortensen decided he liked using LabVIEW more than making it. So he left NI and worked for integration companies Moore Good Ideas and VPI Engineering while honing his LabVIEW skills and extensive LabVIEW experience and a desire to use his business training, he founded Endigit in 2011. The name Endigit is a compilation of the concepts of engineering and the digital world. It encompasses Robert's vision for a solid company providing quality services and products.

After years of taking second place, Robert is a two time champion (2016 & 2017) in the World's Fastest LabVIEW Programmer challenge held yearly at NIWeek.

Shawn Walpole started programming with Microsoft Basic on the Apple Macintosh 128k computer in the 1980s and has loved it ever since. He graduated with a Mechanical Engineering BS degree and a Computer Science minor from the University of Utah in 2000. He worked on the LabVIEW R&D team at National Instruments for four years developing LabVIEW before moving to Moore Good Ideas. Shawn was impressed by Endigit's vision and joined the Endigit team in 2014.

Shawn gets job satisfaction out of meeting customer needs. He likes LabVIEW because well-written code is easy to read and because of the power of a development environment that was written for programmers working with real hardware.

Shawn has industry experience programming LabVIEW and C/C++. He has worked with Real Time, FPGA, DAQmx, Motion, TestStand, and Veristand.

Before discovering LabVIEW, Carl Wecker had a varied background ranging from programming, R&D Engineering and working with artificial hearts to construction, masonry, and real estate. During his 6 years working at Maxtec in Salt Lake City, Carl became immersed in LabVIEW and hasn't looked back. He jumped from developing test systems and calibration routines for medical gas sensors at Maxtec to working for ATK and developing test software for NASA's SLS program, which will take us to Mars.

Carl joined Robert and Shawn in 2015 and is excited to be working with people not only so talented but also so visionary and full of integrity. He comes from a family of programmers and loves all things engineering, especially when it involves software. He graduated with a bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah in 2005.

Carl currently lives in the mountains of Utah with his wonderful opera singing wife, and his six incredible children.

Bryan first discovered he was a megageek in a college physics class when he got way too excited about tesla coils (most people figured it out much sooner). Bryan worked as a machinist programming and operating CNC lathes while attending Brigham Young University. He earned a degree in Computer Engineering with a Business Management minor in 2008. After graduation Bryan moved to Austin, Texas to work at National Instruments. He worked as an Applications Engineer in the Engineering Leadership Program for 2 years then spent 1 year in Albuquerque, New Mexico as a Field Sales Engineer. He then moved back home to Utah and worked as District Sales Manager for Natonal Instruments where he managed NI's large accounts in Utah like Hill Air Force Base, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, OrbitalATK and L-3.

At Endigit Bryan is responsible for sales and marketing. As a Certified LabVIEW Architect, he also works as a Systems Engineer doing LabVIEW development.

Bryan enjoys everything about water (boating, swimming, rock skipping, drinking, etc.), riding ATVs, comedy writing, exploring the mountains around his home and dreams of going to space.

Marty graduated from the University of Utah with a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in mechatronics and robotics. He began his career at OrbitalATK as a process engineer. In his five years in that role he developed systems for electronic test of ordnance, large motor weighing, automated pressure tests, and statistical process control.

Marty then spent five years on the software engineering team where he became the team lead and Certified LabVIEW Architect There he worked on avionics test sytems and control software for a carbon fiber weaving machine among other projects.

Marty enjoys farming, repairing old cars, and his 4 children.
